I do not believe, nor will I ever believe that elegance is a given. Elegance is a sham, in short, an artifice, and, like everything artificial, intelligence and talent required to reach fruition. That's it. There is no another secret. Wilde, if I may quote him for the umpteenth time, he wrote out there who have doubts about the naturalness, which were naturally only stupid stupid. "The Charm" sentenced, "is to be quite artificial." But of course, this artificilidad given by Wilde, should and should go unnoticed, since elegance is one of the more subtle forms of seduction.
